What you will do?
- Organize, structure the content of training materials, animate the Pentalog Testing training;
- Manage interns’ activities;
- Answer all testing related questions coming from different Pentalog key-people.
Requirements:
Functional:
- You love to stay up to date with all that is new in testing domain;
- You understand the importance of testing and how is this activity linked to the entire IT process;
- Ensuring software quality is what you have decided to invest your efforts and interest in;
- You have excellent communication skills;
- English knowledge – mandatory;
- French is a plus;
- You know how to efficiently organize your own as well as other people’s activities;
- You are open to discovering and getting involved in other related interesting activities – such as working with the embedded specialist for embedded testing activities;
- You are always aware of what the customers need and you are confident you can ensure along with the team, the quality throughout the product development life-cycle.
Technical:
- Understanding the functional specifications of the product and the entire life cycle of an IT project;
- Experience in manual testing – more than five years;
- Experience in automation is a must – more than three years;
- You have good technical qualities, you have previously completed technical unit tests and you know automated testing tools and frameworks such as: GreenPepper, Fitnesse, TestComplete, Selenium…;
- You have good knowledge of test management, test cases tools and reports (such as testlink, EnterpriseArchitect) or bug-tracker (Mantis, Bugzilla, BugTracker.NET, Celebro…);
- You are very familiar with continuing integration principles and you have already worked with complex management tools needed for project management and for following the entire development process (JIRA, Green Hopper, Trac, TFS…);
- Audit expertise in order to ensure that the established testing process is followed as needed;
- Experience with Test-First Programming and tools like xUnit;
- Relevant knowledge for at least one scripting language (VB Script, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript);
- Good knowledge regarding the programming platforms Java and J2ME.

Pentalog, alaturi de un lider mondial in dezvoltarea de plaforme si semiconductori wireless, lanseaza un nou proiect provocator in dezvoltarea de sisteme embedded 3G. Pentru aceasta, in prezent Pentalog este in curs de a forma echipa de specialisti care sa se alature colegilor care deja lucreaza pe proiectul 2G. Aceasta echipa va fi alcatuita din experti cu un set de competente foarte particulare. Spunem “particulare” pentru ca proiectul despre care vorbim este unul de nisa, atat prin prisma competentelor tehnice necesare, dar si pentru ca este unic in Romania.
Pentalog asigura inca din iulie 2008 mentenanta corectiva si evolutiva a solutiilor 2G si 2,5G pentru ST-Ericsson (atat SW, cat si HW). Clientii finali sunt Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, LG, Sharp si Sagem. Echipei 2G, formata la inceput, i s-au alaturat noi ingineri de-a lungul celor aproape 2 ani, si este formata momentan din 40 de persoane.
Cu rezultate notabile obtinute pana acum, alcatuita din ingineri hardware foarte bine pregatiti si formati (inclusiv prin cursuri de pregatire in afara Romaniei), echipa de 40 de persoane se extinde. Noua provocare pentru serviciul nostru de recrutare, People Centric o reprezinta acum proiectul de recrutare pentru Inginerii Embedded C/C++ pe urmatoarele layere Hardware, Layer 1, Protocoale, Audio, Video, Integrare de Sisteme si Telecom – in Bucuresti si Sibiu, proiect care a inceput in ianuarie 2010.
