The Project Director plays a key leadership position in Pentalog’s Information Systems Department. He oversees all development activities across IT projects, including all internal and external parties. He drives the technical solution through requirements, design, development, test and deployment. The Project Director is skilled at managing the risks to project success and driving solutions through to completion. The Project Director will be located in one of our offices in Romania: Brasov, Iasi or Bucharest.
Responsabilitati :
a. Project related
- Provides the direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation.
- Works with the Project Managers and Technical Leads from each functional domain to define work parcels and allocate developers to work.
- Reviews and approves work estimates from the project staff.
- Ensures tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensures that code packages, branches, and releases are coordinated appropriately.
- Administers and manage project schedules.
- Assesses technical risk and mitigation plan.
- Participates in project wrap-up sessions to highlight successes and failures of the team. Creates and manages remediation plans with the development team for failures to avoid repeat.
b. Communication
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively and holds regular status meetings with development teams
- Keeps development teams well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations and assists in commercial offers.
c. Leadership, teamwork and client management
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
- Acknowledges and appreciates each team member’s contributions, involving them at their fullest potential.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
d. Organizational responsibilities
- Evaluates interview candidates for technical positions
- Assists with mentoring new developers on development process and methodology.
- Evaluates development teams, identifying strengths, problem areas, and developing plans for improving performance.
- Establishes standards and procedures to track and measure projects progression.
Cerinte :
- Strong project management skills, technical skills, and market knowledge of the IT business.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (especially when the projects are situated in different locations).
- At least 2-3 years experience in IT project management.
- Excellent organization, teamwork and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude required.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field required.
- Availability for traveling (internal and abroad).

Buna ziua.
Am aplicat la acest job la inceputul lunii decembrie. Am primit emailul care confirma primirea CV-ului, dar de atunci nu am mai fost contacta. As dori sa stiu in ce stadiu se afla aplicatia mea. Va multumesc.
