Project Manager (RIAS473)
Position summary:
With a team of over 80 specialists and consultants, Pentalog Iasi is constantly developing new challenging projects along with it’s partners. In order to better respond to their clients’ requirements, the team is also growing. To ensure the well function of processes, we are currently looking to recruit a responsible, communicative and problem solving oriented person for Project Manager position.
Idealy, you have worked in IT consulting companies or with software editors and most probably you have gained much previous experience as tester. Most of all, you have a strong experience in project metrics that will lead to successfully harmonize and systematize of development processes.
Responsibilities:
- To lead the company’s project management practice and discipline;
- To drive project management strategy and standards that are consistent across company;
- To plan, organize and follow the activities for each project;
- To maintain a close and effective relationship with the client;
- To set and manage the specific procedures, metrics and tools (Project Time Line, Project Cost Management, Project Resources, Project Scope Management, Project Quality Management, and Project Action Items);
- To perform cost/benefit analysis of actions and initiatives;
- To determine project costs and ensures delivery on time and within budgetary guidelines;
- To monitor effectiveness and efficiency of project management resources;
- To assesses performance risk and mitigation plan;
- To participate in project wrap-up sessions to highlight successes and failures of the team;
- To create and manages remediation plans with the development team for failures to avoid repeat.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Project Manager – at least 3 years;
- Knowledge of Gantt charts;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude required;
- Excellent coordination, planning and organizing skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and multi-cultural communication skills (especially when the projects are situated in different locations);
- Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field required;
- Fluency in French and/or English;
- Availability for traveling (internal and abroad – Europe, Asia).
