Along with its well-known partner, the important worldwide mobile player ST-Ericsson, the Pentalog team has set an ambitious objective: to offer our customers the greatest possible leverage for their software investments and to reduce their IT infrastructure costs.
The 3G Project is an extension of our 2G Project that has been successfully running for over 2 years now. For this reason, Pentalog is looking for the best experts in the GSM technical area, for 3 different areas:
- Audio Software
- Hardware, Power & Integration
- Telecom Integration

For Telecom 3G Embedded Software, we are searching for passionate, self-driven and reliable team players for Development Engineers in Sibiu. In this role you will be involved in the following activities:
- Maintenance of customer 3G mobile phone solutions
- Implementation of new customer requirements/functionalities
- Offers customer support for the integration of all developed solutions
- Support activities related to all issues reported by the customer
- Periodical Software delivery to the customer based on well defined branches
- On site support on customer’s premises in case of emergency situation
- Know-how transfer within the team
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and experience working with cell phone technology (GSM and UMTS or other similar technology)
- Strong knowledge and experience in the Layer 2/3 part of the UMTS/GSM protocol stack (or other similar technology).
- Strong knowledge in programming languages such as: Embedded C, C, Assembler
- Strong microprocessors architecture knowledge: different operating modes, interrupt handling, peripherals, registers handling
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
- Clearcase versioning system knowledge is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- English is a must, French is an advantage
- Good communication skills are required.
