BI Developer Internship (RBRA462)
Internship description:
For the internal BI cell, Pentalog is looking for a Junior BI developer. You will be part of a team which mission is to collect internal data from different areas of activity inside the company (production, finance, marketing, infrastructure etc.) and to deliver them in the form of dashboards and other reports. This information of great importance is designed to assist management in tracking their activity and making decisions.
Within this team you will take part in the following activities:
- Modeling the database;
- Collecting information in the database with ETL (Talend);
- Validation of loaded data;
- Construction of simple reports;
- Construction of more complex reports and dashboards;
- Validation of reporting.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an IT faculty: Computer Science, Cybernetics, etc.;
- Good knowledge of databases: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle is required as well as experience with SQL programming;
- Previous experience with Talend and / or a reporting tool: Business Objects, Pentaho, Spago – real advantage;
- Knowledge of Java and experience in handling of CSV files and XML – also an advantage;
- You have proven teamwork abilities and your English level is advanced;
- French – is a plus;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
