Senior Server and Network Manager (RRO500)
Job description:
Pentalog began a partnership with a major German manufacturer. The company is present in 45 countries worldwide and its 60 agencies include about 7500 employees.
With an impressive IT infrastructure, this company is developing a team focused on complex tasks of activities of server and network systems management.
In this context, Pentalog is looking for an ambitious, responsible and passionate person for the position of Senior Server and Network Manager.
In this role, you will have the following tasks:
- Management of the team of server and network administrators dedicated to this mission;
- Coordinate all the installation, administration, monitoring operations;
- Processing the new projects;
- Building and training the integration division.
The position is open for following cities: Brasov, Bucharest or Iasi, where the Pentalog Group has agencies.
Requirements:
You are an expert in one or more of the following technologies and have at least a basic notion of the others. The focus is on the Server Administration Part.
- Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Update);
- Knowledge of MS Exchange in order to manage servers with a large number of clients;
- Experience with MS SQL Server, in large set-ups;
- Linux, VMWare;
- Oracle;
- Storage Management SAN / NAS, database management and back-ups;
- Tools: HP Systems Insight Manager, EMC Storage Manager;
- Routing & Advanced Routing;
- Operating and management of leased lines and WAN networks;
- Ethernet / Fast Ethernet switching, VLAN;
- LAN / WAN Security: Firewalls, VPN;
- Wireless LAN;
- Tools: Nagios, CiscoWorks, Nortel Manager.
Non technical:
- Excellent project management skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- English – mandatory, German would be a plus.
